No, the day does not change from year to year, the date changes from year to year. Thanksgiving is always on the 4th Thursday of November. You should know that!!

I am a Canadian so I had my Thanksgiving October 8th this year.
In Canada the date changes too.
In the states its November 22nd, or the 23rd 2007
This year its the fourth Thursday of November.
