My old apple mac was stolen with all my iTunes on it. I still have my iPod, with all my old songs but how do i get all those songs back to my new Mac? If I try and sync the iPod to the computer it deletes all my existing songs so does this mean I can never get any new songs onto my iPod without my old computer????

Don't sync. Plug in your Ipod. Click the Ipod Icon on the Left in your menu bar. Click "Select All" at the top (to the right of your apple icon) and then "Export" (which is under the "file" drop down). This will take all of your songs on your Ipod and transfer them to your new computer.

You can get them off

in itunes make sure you have selected it to NOT automaticly sync with the ipod

then connect it, and then access the ipod not through itunes, but as an external device and then look for the folder with your songs...

i have only done this on a windows pc, but i know it can be done on a mac much easier...

i can give you something if you like but i'd have to email it to you or something. Its called pod works and works seperate from itunes, so you can plug any ipod to your mac and not delete anything
