Dahlia reminds me of Bertie Wooster's Aunt Dahlia in the Jeeves & Wooster books penned by PG Woodhouse. (It's a fairly obscure reference, but Bertie Wooster was one of the earlier roles played by Hugh Laurie ... now Dr. House on television.)
While Aunt Dahlia was a formidable woman, she's also a beloved character, so it's not in any way a bad reference. I'd use the name - I think it's fun, underused, interesting and yet still simple to say.
Another seldom heard flower power name is Bryony. Technically it's a vine. But it has a lovely, upscale feel in stark contrast to the Briannas and Brittanys that have been so popular in recent decades.
Crisanta/Crysantha/Chrysantha is a slightly scaled back version of chrysanthemum. It's a little much for me, but might work for some.
Ianthe/Iolanthe is a more exotic version of super-hot Violet, thanks to the Little Miss Affleck.
Speaking of celeb baby names, I believe Zahara has a flower-tie in, too.
Still ... I like Dahlia the best. :)
