Go to the SS office and request a card, when they give you the reciept it will have the number on it. You will have to show the proof that he is the fatehr though. Or you can go get a copy of last years taxes from the IRS....

Typically you don't need the childs ssn for a divorce, you don't even have to sette the custody during the divorce, you can settle that after if you'd like! At least that is how it is in some states

you can contact the friend of the court that is where child support ,visitation and all things pertaining to the children go through.if they will not help apply for a lost social security card at the local social security office.some ex's are just crazy and mean. good luck.

If he has to have a copy of the birth certificate he can go to the health dept. of the county the child was born in and obtain one. We did that for our stepdaughter. I think it cost about $15. Good luck!

If you pay for medical, go to your human resources because they will have their soc there. You can also go to there dr's office and request something that has their birthdday on it and the name and take it to the social security office and order copies. The Dr's office should have a copy of the soc. With that you can also take it to the social security office and have them mail you a card.
