depending on the way your dancing, it has the potential to work almost every muscle in your body.
I used to be a stripper and my body is extremely fit even now (a year later) but I still enjoy dancing for fun

I've been taking ballroom dancing lessons with my boyfriend for a few months, and it's quite the workout. It helps your posture, your calves, your thighs, and your arms. The cha cha always kills my thighs!

Dancing makes you more limber, more graceful, gives you better balance, and helps you be more fit and confident. My boyfriend plays rugby for our city team, and I can tell a difference in how he handles himself on the field; he has a lot better balance and rhythm. Me, I feel a lot more confident about myself.

it keeps you very fit plus dont dance to get fit dance because you love it i dont like wen people arent dedicated and dance........ballet it probably helps most
