Since last week, it's gone up $0.04 cents a day several times. We are up to $3.25 a gallon. I think this is the highest I've ever seen it at the place I go to. Luckily I happened to fill my tank just before the increases started!

I live in California, the cheapest I have found gas prices at is $3.30. I haven't checked in a few days so it might have gone up! It's getting so crazy, I don't understand why gas companies can't just keep it at one steady, fair price. Just two months ago or so, it was $2.99 a gallon here. I don't understand whats going on.

I've given up my car, I'm relying on Zipcars (the price of gas is included) and public transportation. Gas is around $2.83 for a regular gallon here (in Boston) and up to $3.29 for premium. It's out of control!
and in response to "huge_f_in_dork" European cars get far better fuel economy than our huge-*** cars do... so it kind of evens out.

I think it's about that much here in NW Ohio.
I haven't filled my tank in awhile because I live really close to work and I was sick so I didn't drive anywere last weekend. I hope I can hold out until it goes down again.

We Americans are spoiled. Europeans pay about $7-$8 a gallon for gas. So quit bitching about having to pay an extra 10 bucks for every tank.

Hey I live in North Carolina and our gas is up to 3.09 a gallon now. Last week it was at 2.89. Crazy stuff!!!

Oh well, it doesn't really affect me because either way, I never fill up anymore...I just put in $30, and whatever that get 's me than that's fine...
It's enough to get me from work to home for a whole week. If I need to go anywhere in between, I just take my fiance's car.

I'm paying 3.11. which is so much money!!!!! i wish it was like the old days where it was like 25 cents a gallon. when i become president i will change that.

Diesel 3.49/gallon... the first time it took $50 to fill the tank... t'was a sad day.
