The tropics (the area between 30 degrees south and north) do not have the seasons of summer, fall, winter, and spring because the tilt of the Earth does not affect the amount of sunlight recieved.

However, you will often hear about the monsoon seasons in the tropics. These are generally referred to as the wet season and the dry season. In India, the wet monsoon lasts from June to September when winds come from the south.
