love is a very scary and complicated emotion...quite powerful really...and something that big and that powerful is normally kinda scary...makes one nervous...i know it makes me nervous anyways...love can leave you vulnerable as hell, but that of course is where trust comes into play....youve got to trust the one you love 110%

Not sure...why would you be afraid of the one you love and want to be with for the rest of your life? Perhaps you are just afraid of commitment....

Because it is scary, the rest of your life = forever, that is scary cause you don't know how forever will turn out. you don't know if things will change, if someone will stray to another lover, will get sick, will have an accident etc... it's scary to put yourself out there and make yourself vulnerable to so much possible pain. But you just have to be optimistic and believe and have faith in true love or else, your life will suck.....

why would you be afraid? Is your relationship an abusive one? If you are afraid then you shouldn't even want to be with him. Take a minute and look at yourself and evaluate the relationship.

it isn't love...sorry. You don't fear the one you love. Its only fear that makes you think you love them and its because you don't love yourself enough.
Love yourself more and you'll find that fear is an unhappy life and no one wants an unhappy life.
