The tallest mountain in the world doesn't change just because people haven't discovered it...

Mount Everest always was the biggest mountain - even before it was discovered.
K2 was believed to be the biggest mountain, before Everest's discovery.

From its base on the ocean floor, Mauna Loa is 33,132 ft., or 10,099 m high. That's taller than Mt. Everest is high, and it's just a single mountain!

I'm not sure, but there's an undersea volcano which is 3 times the size of everest.

It was Chomolungma or Qomolangma (Tibetan: ཇོ་མོ་གླང་མ) or Sagarmatha, but no-one knew it was the tallest mountain in the world!
