i replaced my old addictions with safer ones. for instance i used to be a heroin addict and now i take less potent, prescription medication that allows me to have a life. i replaced being an alcholic with heroin, not the best idea. now i dont drink much but have big trouble with the opiates. there is alwasy something to do too much of now isnt there. well when i was sober i did it by exercising each day and eating healthy as well as some meditation and this worked well for a long time. i would suggest the latter to anyone trying to stop anything. it works.

I used to love whisky as social drink i replaced it with beer
which is smoother on the stomach, specialled malted, but it doesn't look very classy in cocktails.
there is still the BIG addiction which i i'm trying to get rid of,but so far without any success:smoking .

i was addicted to METH and that was over 4 years ago, I found out i was prego. and that became my new addiction, taking care of myself and being a MOM! the best addiction i could of ever had, she was born 100% healthy with no problems, i stopped using drugs in time and it never harmed her!
