I've had my 30GB iPod for 9 months and have it set up to auto-sync. I've had no problems and I have 2800 songs on it. But someone recently told me I should NEVER sync the iPod, that I'm risking losing everything and I'm asking for trouble. True or false?

Hmmm... I have had my iPod for some time and I have synced it a fair bit. i know that if you do not safely remove it from the computer (use the little eject button next to it in iTunes) or take it out when is says "Do not disconnect", then yes, your files may be corrupted.

False! The only way you would be in trouble would be if your computer crashed, or something like that. There's no way to lose the music you already have on your iPod (unless you synched it with another iTunes Library).

But the music is already in your computer, so it doesn't matter. =]
