I got my ear pierced like 3 months ago, and now my earring is starting to wear away and lose the silver color. Some parts are starting to turn yellowish and look stupid. So, when I buy a new earring, what metal or material do I look for that won't lose it's color. I want like a silver stud with a small-medium fake rock. Nothing obnoxiously big, I think the one I have now is a 24mm which is the perfect size. Just not sure what kind of material to get, but I don't want it to look gold! Also, it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg, just something to fill the hole. Thanks

You can't go wrong with an implant grade stainless steel, it wears a lot better than gold, and skin reactions rarely occur. Stainless steel is very reasonably priced as well.

The type of metal u would really want is platinum.....but if u cannot afford it then go for white gold but know that it will need to be roteum plated a whole lot!
