I am 13 and I'm not sure if to buy stilettoe shoes as I don't know if they may make me look slutty and or as if I'm trying to look older than I am. Also are they a more "dressy" type of shoe?
It's just i'm tired of flats :)

I don't know why any 13 year old would wear stilettos. They will definately make you look like your trying to hard to look older, and at 13 they can definately make you look slutty. Im not saying that you shouldn't wear any kind of heels, but stilettos are definately not for 13 year olds. How about a shoe like this?

I just bought that pair in grey, and they look really really good on. But you should look for heels like that, definately not stilettos.

At 13 I don't think so really (Mum head on here!). They will cause your feet damage to be honest - stick to a pretty shoe with a small heel. At my age (51) I wear them a lot - always have and I'm very lucky NOT to have problems with my feet but I didn't really start wearing them until my mid 20's.
For an ocassion, with a special dress they are fine - just not all the time. And yes, they CAN look slutty - depends what you wear with them!

I'm twelve BTW and I wear two inch stilettos.
I don't see any reason why not but as your Mum/Nan and friend or there opinion on what your wearing with then to make sure you don't look slutty.
Tip though do not wear going long shopping trips I had to go buy about forty pairs of insoles and the shop assistant asked if I was over eighteen and interested in a store card!
So just wear them but do not wear with skirts apart from a special occasion.
I normally wear mine with my skinny jeans, a nice t-shirt and a few pretty/cool accessories.

Don't go for super tall stilettoes for such a young person they give a slutty-ish image go for some mid heel shoes that look vintage in style they look dressy and flattering on any woman and you don't get such harshly sore feet

Instead of pencil thin stilletos try a kitten heel which are 1-1 1/2 inch of heel. They are really cute and won't make you look slutty. If not try a pair of boots that have a flat heel and are around an inch high.

At 13 u are to young for what I call real stiletto's. Although they can make your legs and ankles look slimmer, and go with almost any clothes, long term use can cause back and posture problems when older.
Look for a nice Wedge or Stack Heel(About 1.1/2 to 2")

Im 21 and I wear kitten heels and only form of heel i wear is in a boot. I wouldnt recommend them at all i dont like them really. I bought some other day and will wear them when i can walk in them drunk prob lol. No i have a pair of boots with a big chunky heel which are sterdy and love them. Thet are brown boots and i will wear them with tights as i can walk in them but they give me bad feet too. I can walk in high heels at all only kitten heels so not too good really ha ha. I love scandals, wedges are my limit for tall shoes. I wouldnt recommend them for your age as your 13 and still growing and you'll end up with bad feet early in life and damage them. Yes flats arent all that but believe me wear kitten heels about 1-2 inches and see how u get on with them first!!

I agree you are too young for stilettos, but you can get some very nice shoes that have a little bit of a heel that's chunky you know, something more age appropriate. ballet flats are in, and maybe you can find a little wedge shoe.

My wife is 63 years old and has worn nothing but stilettos all her life. They make legs look better, they make a woman's walk more sophisticated, they make a woman's posture look terrific. You cannot shuffle in stilettos you walk with the elegance of a gazelle. Any female who says stilettos are bad for you or don't look nice are just jealous because they don't want to look superior and slop around in barge boats of shoes. Go for it and make your fashion statement.

Im 16 and even I wont wear stilettos.
1. They make you too way too older
2. Yes, they can make you look slutty
3. I cant walk in them!
Just buy yourself a pair of boots with a heel! ..x
