No. Because she's a socialist and she's running for president.
But what is interesting is the fact that she believes her vagina qualifies her for the job. I saw a bumper sticker today that said, "Hillary '08 - Be a part of history" which clearly implies that if you vote for a woman you'll be a part of history. Wow, there's a winning approach. "I have a vagina so vote for me. Don't let the fact that I have no experience dissuade you!"
Then too, she pulled the 'girl card' after that last debate and went running to Bill for help.
If I was a woman, I'd be embarrassed.

This question keeps coming up. The problem with Hillary is not her sex, it's her ethics.
Let me start by saying that I'm a moderate independent that leans a little bit Democrat. In fact I voted for Bill Clinton twice.
But Hillary has an aura of sleeze around her. Campaign finance scandles, running for senate in a state she never lived in, Whitewater (which was all her), her husband pardoning her financial and political cronies that were in federal prision or on the lam, her voting history of not voting in the Senate the way she believes but the way that will get her more power and influence, etc.
She is sleezy, not because she is a woman, but because she is unethical.

No. All candidates are "scrutinized". I don't think a woman SHOULD run a country. But a woman COULD. I'm a girl so don't think I'm male chauvinist. I actually think Hillary is being scrutinized less bc I think the government wants to avoid sexism.

It seems that it would make sense that she is receiving a lot of scrutiny because she is the front runner -- but I do believe that the reason she is receiving a harder political policy bashing on issues such as the Iraq war is because of the fact that she is a woman, whom is the front runner, in a male dominated race (as always). One could say that the recent democratic debate was basically a chance for all the men in the race for the democratic seat to gang up on her and call her two faced -- and from that it would seem that people are more likely to believe that she is incompetent right away instead of reassessing the facts, because of her gender.

No, because she is a Clinton. Further, she gets a pass on a lot of things because she is a Clinton, a woman, and a Democrat.

She's under so much scrutiny due to her own bad behavior. I cannot imagine any worse choice for President. She is a scammer (cattle futures), a friend to criminals (love that driver's license for illegals non-answer), and knows more people who have died under mysterious circumstances than your local mob boss. Her dingdong husband was bad enough (he can't even practice law in Arkansas because he can't keep his own stories straight), but she is an out and out power- whore. She claims to be a feminist, but what she has done for women is nothing. As long as BC supports her politically, he's free to practice adultery, perjury, you name it - she is the poster child for enabling and codependency. GROSS! She should stop calling herself a feminist - those of us who actually are don't appreciate it!
More importantly, she supports an unconstitutional socialist agenda - that ought to warrant all the scrutiny she's received and then some.
I'm so tired of hearing how fabulous and smart she is - she's a cheap date, at best.

That's a part of it for some. But the main reasons are that she's winning so far and that her last name is Clinton. I'm an old bat, and I've got to say that I have never seen such scrutiny of a Presidential candidate. She can't burp without it being put under a microscope. But I suspect she knew it would be this way, and so far she seems very able to handle it.
EDIT:
Doc:
You know, the only time she talked about her gender in regard to this election after that debate was at Wellesley. And gee, it's a WOMAN'S college. Her remarks there were very appropriate and true and she never linked those remarks to the debate - that has been left to the pundits who hate her. About the debate she said the following:
Hillary Rodham Clinton said Friday her status as the Democratic presidential front-runner — not her gender — has led her male primary rivals to intensify their criticism of her.
"I don't think they're piling on because I'm a woman. I think they're piling on because I'm winning," Clinton told reporters after filing paperwork to appear on the New Hampshire primary ballot.
"I anticipate it's going to get even hotter, and if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. I'm very much at home in the kitchen," she said.
The New York senator's comments came three days after a televised debate in which her six male opponents challenged her character, electability and apparent unwillingness to answer tough questions.

She is a woman with a dark past.
Also Clinton took money from China. Clinton also gave U.S. military secrets to China. That action put the U.S. at risk for a nuclear missile attack from China. Two foreigners pled guilty but for some reason they didn't go to jail. Also, China secretly helped fund Bill Clinton's legal defense. Democrat politicians don't want the public to know the real facts about Clinton and China.
This is a few of some of the U.S. government's documents. I am sure Democrat politicians don't want you to see them.

Clintons pushed the world into letting China join the WTO, instead of putting trade sanctions on China for numerous violations. Because China is now in the WTO it is difficult to put trade santions on them. And Goldman Sachs predicts China's GDP will surpass the U.S.'s within just 40 years
Because of Clinton, China's GDP is growing 250% faster than the U.S.'s. Goldman Sachs predicts China will replace the U.S. as the number one economic giant . (http://www.the-global-institute.org/act/...
Clinton's permanently screwed America by forcing the world to accept China into the WTO. That caused a record growing trade deficit, and it has caused a lot of bankruptcies, car repossessions, and home foreclosures across America. Clinton also created slower tax revenue growth which increases national debt.
Clinton has seriously damaged the U.S. economy. Because of Clinton the trade deficit with China will top $1 trillion a year within 10 years. Clinton pushed the U.S. to agree to having China join the World Trade Organization. China is causing the loss of high paying U.S. jobs. And illegal aliens are undermining increases in family incomes. Clinton has caused China's economy to explode with growth and our trade deficit to explode. The HIGH OIL PRICES are due to China's growing demand for oil which did not exist ten years ago.
