In reality, both parties are very corrupt, and they are ruled by special interest groups. Granted, libs say the bushies are ruled by oil lobby and republicans say dems are ruled by whatever else, but the point is they are both corrupt. In reality, if you look at the behind the scenes actions of both Democrat and Republican presidents, they are very much the same. Bush has continued many of Clinton's actions on the war on terror, Clinton authorized many bombing strikes on terrorist areas, but we say Bush is the only one who wages unexplained war. I believe that the two party system is really more for the voters, because once in power, they all seem to do basically the same things! It is very effective for controlling people to use the divide and conquer stratedgy. Rather than uniting and DEMANDING a cleansing of our government, we are sitting here and arguing over who's worse, when we know BOTH are doing wrong. Another example is racism. Both poor whites and poor blacks are getting

messed over by ridiculous wages (no thanx to illegal immigrants working for nothing). As if anyone can survive on six, seven, or eight dollars an hour! But rather than uniting, they call eachother names and pay more attention to "those damn crackers" or "those damn n******"! Why not just say we are all Americans and we demand a government that isn't sucking people dry and putting the very wealthy ahead of the rest of us?

not me, as u can see I DON'T work (and yes, I have a right to talk, because I came from a poor family and lucked out with the husband) but eight bucks in hour is what this country actually thinks people are worth. Everyone who works for us, from the nanny to the restaraunt worker to store clerk, gets paid something like this. And people are so dismissive of this! It's their fault, blahblahblah. Well, its called circumstance. Not everyone is a loser or screw up because their life is hard. In reality, if you make any mistakes as an 18 year old and Daddy can't catch u, yr screwed, and ALL the doors of opportunity slam in your face. But this was not my point, my point was politicians getting over.

I disagree with you on many levels but am not in a mood to write an entire essay over so many issues at once. Your post gave me a headache. Slow it down.

Both parties are controlled by the puppet masters

Lobbyists,Ceo's, foreign governments and the very, very rich.

We are kept busy by arguing with each other while they give

American jobs away to other countries, move

companies/production to other countries

Pay lower wages in this country to Illegals

Don't care about the safety of our food human/pets

Don't care about lead in our children's toys.

So keep fighting about the sound bites and the same smoke

and mirrors each side spouts that have been going on for

decades.

example of why politicians getting payed off :

a bug exterminator goes to congress by time he

leaves he is a multi-millionaire plus lifelong medical coverage

very large retirement packages and all the other perks.

Meanwhile we keep fighting back and forth.

Remember the first rule of a bureacracy is to grow and expand.

Try the Libertarians, they are the only Political group to advocated smaller Government.

I agree, the two parties represent their campaign contributors. The American people hardly cross their minds at all. The US is going down the tubes and we hear no proposals to correct the fall.

We need a third political party badly.

Because we have been misled into believing that liberals and conservatives constitute the polar opposites in the arena of responsible political discussion. But they only differ in their approach but not their political mission of conserving the political status quo which is allowing two per cent to inherit most of the nation`s wealth.http://faireconomy.org/research/wealth_charts.html

In this this second video producer talks in detail about the divisiveness that's being fostered (by the people that are the focus of the film above)
