All three are good products. I use Mcafee and zone alarm on my computers with no problems. Free programs are good also, but lack the support and help these three offer you.

Of the three, I'd go for Norton - but - if you want to buy an anti-virus program, NOD32 and Kaspersly are about the best, BitDefender is quite good, too. A couple of the freebies are also very good, e.g. Avast and AntiVir. AVG is very popular but not as effective as others available. Check them out - click on the 'Comparatives' link here: http://www.av-comparatives.org/

None of them. Norton is bloated, McAfee requires your Internet connection to be working and, while the ZA firewall is good, why pay for all this stuff.

Download the ZA firewall free from www.pcworld.com. You can also get AVG or Avast there (free) for antivirus, or you can go to www.free-av.com for AntiVir -- my favorite because it's so low profile.

For spyware, get Spybot and AdAware at pcworld. You can also use the Google or Yahoo toolbar to control pop-ups. I use POW from www.analogX.com in combination with this.

I agree with "whatanid" 100%.

There is no need to buy antivirus, and the ones for sale are mostly inferior to the free ones.

AVG, Avast and Bit Defender are very good FREE antivirus programs, that work far better the NORTON.

For a free firewall I would recomend COMODO.

None of the above over rated expensive Antivirus protections.
I tried them all and AVG is free and is awesome, i even uninsalled Mcfee that i got free with AOL.

Used AVG before but have now switched to Bit Defender Internet Security. So far I'm very pleased with it.
