Do you think I need a humidifier?

I have a raised-ranch style home and burn a pellet stove in basement, it seems to dry out the house. Now my wood floors are beginning to creak and I think it's due to the stove. Do you think I need a humidifier? If so which type and what size would I need? Thanks

Yes you do need a humidifier. If you have ductwork in your home look for a duct mounted unit. AprilAire model 600 works great and isn't too expensive.
