Yes. My 8 year old son has asked me for a myspace and I laughed. I think it's ridiculous to allow your children to go onto any websites like that, or even chat or email. That shouldn't be allowed until they're well into their teens, and even then, with serious moderation, restrictions and supervision.

Yes, it is. I've got two daughters, 9 and 6, and I wouldn't let either of them have a myspace until they're much older.

I have a hard enough time letting my 13 year old on my space. I am constantly having her show me whats on it.
I trust her but I don't trust total strangers and I am not sure that she would be confident enough to tell someone to get lost.
