I do hope so. It is an epidemic! With all the hands free devices in the world, why does anyone hold their phone any more? Next year, it will be a $100 fine in NJ. I think that is great! One morning, sitting at a light, 4 SUV's drove past with phones in their ears. They can hardly drive those beasts anyway, I can't imagine it with one hand! And, I am close to the PA border, & I see lots of them with phones in their ears too. It is a good way for the state to make money! They will make lots if they try!

It needs to happen in my state & nationally! More people are killed every year by cell phone drivers than drunk drivers, not to mention all the minor accidents & the ones that nearly occur. Bluetooth headsets are a help but you still have to pay attention while you're driving. People need to remember that a car is a deadly weapon, not their living rooms!
