I went into one of these establishments, and ordered "fish" and "chips"...

The fish was fine, a little dry, but at least it was fish...when I checked for my chips, I found that they had swapped my chips for some steak fries...

What kind of shotty business practice is this?

Lousy Brits and their false advertising. I'd sue, if I were you.

You can if you didn't eat the steak fries, but a lawsuit will set you back more than just taking the order back and demanding chips.

Otherwise, vote with your dollar, tell your friends, and don't go there again.

Sue, Sue, Sue, Sue...can I be your lawyer??

You know I had the same problem when I went over to England?? Their "chips" were not chips! and when I complained I heard them utter "bloody Americans".

WHAT NERVE!!! Definitely sue, and in your lawsuit, be sure to throw in the fact that your food looked absolutely NOTHING like it did in the picture!

What do you want to sue them for? "Bait" and switch...
You would probably do better sending a letter to the corporate office or management.
