In an interview with the UK magazine, "Contact Music UK", Sharon Stone says:
"Young people talk to me about what to do if they're being pressed for sex? I tell them: oral sex is a hundred times safer than v*******l or a**l sex. If you're in a situation where you cannot get out of sex, offer a b*** j**."
What situations are young women in that they "can't get out of sex"? Isn't this a huge step backwards for women? Why are we letting teenagers think that the girl "owes him" a BJ if she doesn't want to go all the way? WTH?

Well, Ms. Stone clearly thinks that it is reasonable for a girl to feel pressured into giving the guy "something". To me, this sounds as though she is against women being free to make their own decisions about sexuality - that they should feel guilty about saying "no".. So yes, I think "enemy of women's rights" is pretty accurate

Personally, I hope that my own daughter is *never* in a position where she "cannot get out of sex". There is something very sad about that, IMO.

Excuse me? You mean to tell me that she's an advocate for servicing men who are trying to have sex with you against your will? This woman is nuts. But this is the first any of us have heard of it, so I wouldn't call her the enemy of women's rights. Honestly, I don't expect much else from someone who is famous for flashing her Britney at a camera.

I think Sharon Stone's comments were made in reference to when you are young and getting more and more adventurous when it comes to sex (much like what Super Ruper said). At some point when you're steaming up the windows in the car, you need to do something. You can't just "walk away". So her suggestion to give the guy a BJ is right in line for a girl who wants to do more, but is afraid of crossing the line, so to speak.
She may be a brainiac, but that doesn't mean she's that smart.

IQ tests do not test for common sense: they measure an ability to get high marks in intelligence tests. In other words, people with high IQs may make a total mess of their lives, just like less academically gifted people. I know some very gifted people who make really dumb decisions...
Anyway, Stone was not asked about her political or philosophical views: this quote concerns purely practical matters ~ how to deal with intense sexual pressure. I personally don't agree with it, but it doesn't make her an enemy of women's rights.
I think we should take that together with the quote from another answerer, Rex, which may or may not be authentic: "The more powerful and famous I get, the more power I have to hurt men". To me, these quotes sound like a view from the trenches of the gender war, from a combatant who has been severely injured by the other side (probably raped, probably more than once).
From this viewpoint, Stone is seen as someone doing what it takes to survive, embittered, and lacking in the sort of academic distance that intellectual discussions of this sort might give one.
That's my five cents worth, anyway!

Well firstly, why are you equating her position or stance to any kind of relevant or representational voice of feminism? She's an actress. Thats it - no more, no less. And hardly the voice of authority on any subject other than, perhaps, acting.
However, let me offer this. Think back to when you were first experimenting with sex. You go a little further each time, and eventually, there was an expectation of sex. And all of us (girls) felt a little pressure to go that far. Those are the situations, I think, to which she refers. Girls want to be sexually active and enjoy foreplay every bit as much as guys. So if she's not ready for intercourse, then I see no problem with oral. As long as thats okay with her....

When I originally heard this advice, it was in regards to a rape situation. I think perhaps Sharon Stone is simply parroting it. I have heard this advice given to sex workers as a last resort if they find themselves in a dangerous situation they can't escape from. I'll admit it's unsettling, and a disturbing situation to even contemplate. But there is a point, you are much less likely to contract aids from oral sex.

I think Sharon Stone realizes her career is essentially over, so she has to say something shocking to get some attention.
Why else would Basic Instinct 2 be made upteen years later?

Sharon Stone has spent her entire lifetime in pursuit of a career based on a sale of her own looks to the highest bidder. She is simply speaking from personal experience.

You may not know this, but Sharon Stone graduated from high school at age 15.
She started high school at age 14 in grade and then at in that same year the board of education exonerated from grade 9 to grade 12. She went college at age 16 and graduated at age 18. Sharon Stone's I.Q. level is 154.
I think some of her movies which involved her getting naked was gross, however you can't insult her because she is smart.
I don't agree with her view of sexuality because it's wrong for both teenage boys and teenage girls to be having any sex life.

It's ONLY Sharon Stone. She is an actress, nothing more. Who on earth cares what Sharon Stone has to say on any subject?
"If you're in a situation where you cannot get out of sex"
Sounds like a possible date rape/acquaintance rape scenario. I smell a power-imbalance, and fear of reprisal.
Why don't you email Sharon Stone and ask her what she meant by it? Context is missing in the isolated snippet of text you provided.
