The resolution said that Cheney, "in violation of his constitutional oath to faithfully execute the office of vice president," had "purposely manipulated the intelligence process to deceive the citizens and Congress of the United States by fabricating a threat of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction to justify the use of the U.S. Armed Forces against the nation of Iraq in a manner damaging to our national security interests."

Way past time. It should have been done a long time ago.....

And, they should impeach BOTH of them.

They are treasonous traitors to our country....and should be jailed.

specific, it rather is genuine. Cheney would desire to be impeached or while Bush is impeached, Cheney will rule. an excellent better impeachment flow has been going for an somewhat long term attempting to get Congress to take heed to the individuals and Impeach Bush. Many petitions have been sent to Representatives, resolutions are slowly being handed in cities and states and letters to Senators and different individuals. fascinated by the impeachment of George W. Bush. A smaller quantity is on Cheney ideal now, yet he would desire to pass first. there's a rustic huge impeachment flow occurring right this moment, April twenty eighth.

True, that's what it said. You also noticed how the Democrats had to scramble to make sure the issue was tabled. Republicans almost pulled out a go ahead on this one. Had that happened, I can guarantee you that it would have been very bad for Democrats.

The impeachment issue was nothing more than Democrats trying to have their cake and eat it to. They did not really want the issue to go ahead. Instead they just wanted it to look like they were trying to push it. When Republicans started voting for the issue to go ahead, many Democrats had to switch their votes so that it wouldn't.

A brilliant political move by Republicans, Had they waited just a bit longer to spring the trap they might have actually been able to do it.

It's a shame the bill was killed. I would have loved to have seen all the nutty liberal congressman pontificating on why Cheney should be impeached.

What a fiasco it would have been!

Neither. Since there are no grounds, it is a non- issue. Kucinich is only trying to be noticed in this Dem. campaign. An ill-advised choice in this case. Kucinich, like his impeachment nonsense, is irrelevant.
