wow that's disturbing, not the question but the answers, when will you feel you have paid enough taxes? when your whole check is taken away from you? and instead you cash your government allowance check every 1st and 15th? i know a lot of you are young but believe me you will have a retirement fund in a 401k or some other type of investment, you want your retirement taxed?
i am middle class and i got a tax cut, it isnt just the top 1% its everyone that makes more than 16,000 a year and doesnt go to school
don't settle for more taxation DEMAND!!! less spending, and don't point fingers across the isle and let "your guy" slide, republicans started the war and democrats are approving funding,

I think you got lost in translation. If Senator Clinton gets elected and undoes the Bush tax cuts, she'll be increasing taxes on the top 1% of the economic ladder. IMHO that would be great. They should have had their taxes increased, not cut, in 2000.

To undo the Bush tax cuts will mean that corporate welfare can be reduced. Why should everyday people pay thru the nose while corporations - making billions of dollars - not pay their fair share?
All of these expenditures have to be paid at some point in time. Or maybe the gov't should declare bankruptcy and get it over with.

A huge portion of Democrat voters already pay little to no taxes. They will vote for Dems that promise to steal from others to take care of them. Many who are not successful are extremely envious of those that are. They will gladly go along with any politician that promises to punish the wealthy and successful.

Anyone who believes that we can pay off Bush's war debt and still move our country forward without taxes, is foolish.
Any tax increases for the next 30 years can be laid right in Bush's lap.
Don't kill the messenger........

Can republicans win by promising that they are not going to do the same thing, when anyone with sense knows it has to be a lie?
Well I guess there will always be some people who will fall for the old..."Read my Lips, No new taxes!"..right after monsterous military spending.

Actually she has promised to roll back the tax cuts to the wealthy, big difference. Leaving out that word "wealthy" really makes it look different doesn't it? She had a good tutor in her husband as far as reaching economic solvency for our country. Considering that Bush has increased spending, not to mention tied us to the Chinese by borrowing billions from them for his war, she's got her work cut out for her. I have confidence she will deal with it very efficiently.

Yes. They can win on almost any campaign promise, with almost any candidate. The 'black halo effect' from Bush & the War is that strong. Still, they /could/ screw it all up and lose, again - they'd just have to really work at it.

They should first get spending under control. Then, after all frivolous spending is gone, and they still need more money, I would then support a small tax increase.
