Turn the computer on and repeatedly press the F8 key until you get a screen which offers you Safe Mode as it first option.

Look down the screen and there will be an option to boot to the "Last known good" configuration. Selecting that should force the computer to do a normal boot up.

If it still goes into Safe Mode the, it means that there is a hardware issue forcing it into Safe Mode. You would need to have the PC looked at by a pro.

open run and type: 'msconfig' click on the boot tab and make sure safe boot is not ticked, if it is then turn it off.


Note: on vista you will need to pass UAC.
