Shula has a right to speak, but he is just bitter and jealous.
He knows that this years Pats team presents the biggest threat in years to him and his cronies drinking their precious champagne (that act in itself is quite frankly pathetic).
All he is doing is getting his excuses and mind games in now just in case the Pats do indeed run the table.

the funny thing is that the Dolphins had to give up their first round draft pick in the 1970 draft for "cheating" (tampering, in order to get Shula on board as coach). So I guess we should put an asteisk next to the dolphins 72 season !?!?!?

What country do you live in? China? North Korea? You ever heard of freedom of speech? And I used to defend the Patriots because I thought that people where going overboard on their accusations against them. NOT ANY MORE! I think Shula is right! Any superbowl or undefeated season for the Pats and their coach from here on out is severely tainted and it won't matter how many superbowls they win or how many afc championships. They will no longer be respected. And after the accusations against the refs and against so called "fake crowd noise" it even adds more to their pathetic tainted reputation that will go down in the hall of shame!

Don Shula has every right to prove that the game passed him by years ago.

No matter what happens during this season, it will always be known as the season the Patriots got caught. So, the season already has an asterisk by it. And I think that Don has earned the right to speak, even though he may be getting a little long in the tooth.

Disgruntled elderly people always make great comments for others to laugh at, why would you want to silence that?
If we live past a certain point and accomplish certain things in our lives we are entitled to be crazy and old. I think it's in the Constitution somewhere.

Don Shula is a disgruntled whiner who's afraid his greatest accomplishment is about to be undone.
