I guess it would depend on the seriousness of the criticism. But I get very emotionally involved with things and often let that get the better of me.
I have encountered this before thankfully I have often had people to back me up but when I haven't ...there are times when I rolled with the punches and times when I broke under pressure. Being a little thick skinned (to some degree) is better though. Never let someone get the better of you

Well I would reflect on why I am being critized and by who.....if a superior critizes you, it's often for a reason....and they do it so you are aware of what you aren't doing right.....now some people critize because they like being negative and mean spirted...if your boss says "You haven't been showing up on time lately, you need to be more punctual if you want to go anywhere in this company"...then take that and reflect and change your behavior...if someone says "I hate the color of your tie, did you pick it out blind folded?" Then they're just being a jackass and you need to brush it off....it really depends on who gives it to you, what they say, and why they say it. Most people have a reason why they say what they say...even if it is to be a jackass.

Work related issues... super thick skin, after all it's just work.
I'm very sensitive when it comes to criticism from people I love though.

I have a hard time with receiving criticism at work. I feel as though I work very hard, and when I do get criticized, it crushes me. I have a very thin skin anyways and get my feelings hurt often.

if they are criticizing you at work, and it is not justified. you can criticize them right back. holler and throw things and puke on their desk, either when they're there or after they leave and let it fester overnight.
have fun with these a s s h o l e s.

No I'm not, but I keep trying to be. If I had criticism at work, I would try my best to communicate with people about it & defuse the situation. At least talking about it would make me feel better.

I used to be, especially if the person making the comments meant nothing to me, but I'm becoming too sensitive. Hopefully it will even out soon.

I'm not thick skin. Things get to me, I hold it in for as long as possible..... then I let you have it. ( That's a trait that I'm trying to change.)
