ok...so i have constipation like crazy...when i go its hard and small little balls. I tried fiber and stool softener every day i still take it and sometimes it helps...everyone says try enema or something, but i need a long term effect not just a one day thing. I have done a colon cleanse a couple times but still it goes back. Can anyone help please?!

Have you been evaluated for an underlying problem that could be causing your chronic constipation? For instance, there are many medications that can constipate you. I suffered from it for YEARS until I learned that a medication I had been taking all that time was the problem. I got off the medication and the problem resolved itself. I can't tell from your profile name whether you are a guy or gal, but endometriosis can be an underlying problem for women. A pinched nerve in the low back can decrease the intestinal peristalsis.

These are just examples. If this has been an ongoing problem, and you have tried all the conventional treatments, I'd say it was time to have a doctor check you over.

Good luck.

Go for a colonic and get your entire
intestinal tract cleaned out.then go see
your Dr he/she may order a colonoscopy
to see if you have something wrong.
On occasions try a plain warm water
enema(s) which are healthy for you.

Drink lots of water and add fiber to your diet good luck

You'r not drinking enough water. Fiber without sufficient water will cause condition you describe. It must be plain water as other liquids - even those that are MOSTLY water - will not work the same.

drink more water in your day. water helps w/ the moisture level and help it 'slide' along

also to get things moving, eat items that would make one go:
fast food
prunes
laxatives
apple sauce
alot of nuts
have an abdominal massage done
walk as much as you can
