A criminal act? Like Clinton did? Or not upholding the Constitution?

Because it's a ridiculous resolution put forth by one of the resident loons in Congress (otherwise known as a Democrat) which has zero chance of moving forward.

It is nothing more than a publicity stunt by a marginal candidate for President in the hopes of garnering a few more campaign dollars.

Hey, here we are, talking about it! I'd suggest reading up on the reasons people think he should be impeached. It's not just Kucinich by the way. It has the support of at least 22 other congresspeople.

I personally think every one in the Bush administration should be held accountable: for the national unity squandered after 9/11 turned into racist hatred and fear, for lying to us about WMDs, for the no-bid contracts awarded in Iraq, for the thousands of dollars in cash simply disappeared in the days/months after the invasion and for trying to protect the hired mercenaries that are making the real soldier's job even more difficult and dangerous. Do you know how many times various people in this current administration have lied before congress? But saying "I don't know" or "I don't recall" isn't considered a lie if you can't prove it's a lie. If Libby's pardoned and Rove's still walking free, there's no chance in hell impeachment's going to happen. Also most Dems feel they've got bigger priorities and it's a lost cause.

But why is it such a radical idea? If you clear your head of ideology, and look simply at the facts: Cheney REPEATEDLY and PURPOSELY lied to the American public. It's on tape! You can look it up. I wish that honesty, integrity and justice weren't such crazy ideas. And yes, that applies to both parties.

To impeach the Vice President one must prove that he has committed a criminal act. I have not seen any proof that he has committed a criminal act. He has done things that people think are criminal acts, but they can't specify the law that he has violated. He could be impeached if he has violated the law, but it needs to be a specific law. I had to be repeat myself because there are people who are ignorant when it comes to knowing the law.

Because it has no standing and is just an act to get votes.
