I am trying to think of a good present for my bf who is a Yankees fan. If you were a guy between 25-30 would you think this is a really good gift or is it corny? Here's the website to see the picture of it

I have one of these, but it's a Red Sox Print.
Be careful though - they might still be selling prints with A-Rod on them - he doesn't play for the Yankees anymore.

Speaking as a Yankee fan, I wouldn't want that gift right now. Giambi's popularity has heavily declined since the steroid scandal. And most Yankee fans are really bitter and upset with A-Rod. So it's probably not the best time to give him a gift like that. If you could find one with different Jersey's, say a Mantle or Mattingly, then it'd be a solid gift.
The only other flaw is that some Yankee fans might feel weird seeing their name on a Jersey with the number 1, since it's retired for Billy Martin. But that's not that big of a deal.

I'm not a Yankees fan, but I like the idea of the the home jersey with his name on it. Then, he always has it and he will never be "off" the team, whereas if you got him an A-Rod jersey, A-Rod's off the team now and he's just a memory.

It is a really cool idea, if you could get different players on there, like some legacy guys, Mantle, Dimaggio, Berra and your boyfriend...that would be cool. I am not sure anyone in that age group would like it with A-Rod especially. Try to contact the company and see what they can do for you, bypass amazon.
ON the jersey you HAVE to go pinstripes, the grey does nothing for me.

I wouldn't want my name on Jersey next to Giambi A-ROD and Jeter imop Giambi used steroids A-ROD is was and always will be a lost cause and Jeter is Jeter....As a Yankee fan I would like the gift more if my name on a jersey was next to the likes of Mantle Maris Martian Jackson Winfield DiMaggio Ruth Ford Dent

or you could just find out who his favorite players are and buy him a jersey of that player (if he doesnt have one)
