Yes. It's ridiculous how much we pay in taxes. Federal, State, County, city, sales, utility, and tolls. I know I forgot something. They nail us for everything. The US Budget is a joke! We could cut the government in half, and I guarantee you'd never know the difference.
Downriver: Don't you think the government takes in much more than it needs? Why do I have 4 governments? City, County, State, and Federal? We have a county and city water dept, parks dept, assessors office, etc...etc...etc....AND THEY ALL DO THE SAME THING!!!!!!! Provide jobs for the friends of our elected officials.
How about a national sales tax? You pay tax on what you consume.

How in the hell would the services remain if the Federal Income Tax were appealed? What would pay for our military? How would we pay for the basic duties of our federal government? The federal government operates almost entirely from the federal income tax.
This makes no sense at all.

have been in favour of the abolishment of Income Tax both Fed and State from day one.

How can you outlaw something that is not a law? The fed income tax is paid by voluntary compliance by people ignorant of the law. As for gov services they are paid for by gas tax, property tax, sales tax etc. basically by local taxes.
