Hey Chicka!
I know what small space you are refering to lol! It pays to be your friend :) Go bright colors in there.Be bold! You should get like a bright bright shag rug(s) to use as carpeting in there.. hmm with your curtain colors I'd say go purples and maybe even black as a accent color. You could paint a wall light purple and do black diamond shapes on it. That would look super cool! Bean bag chairs would be cool... If you want more ideas email, call, comment or anything lol :) I'd be willing to help you! Lol we could go shopping together so you could get stuff for your room and I could get stuff for mine! I wonna redecorate too :)
See ya tonight!
Ps. If you want help decorating when you get your stuff I'd be willing to help you if you need it!

I would go with your interest in travel and photography with some Asian accent pieces and nicely framed black and white photos of your work. You can mix Asian pieces with contemporary or modern very well. Keep things simple and not cluttered. Use large items and not small things. To break up the green colors place some accent items in an egg plant purple. These colors look rich together. You don't have to use just brown's and green's thinking it is masculine. Bold colors are great to add into a room, regardless of your sex. Go to Barnes and Nobel and look into some great books for pictures.

You could paint one wall a deep blue and then the rest of the walls you can paint white and then use a roller brush cut for clouds with a sky blue paint. This will give the room a sense of being bigger. Keep the furniture tailor and slim(like an Asian style) lower tables, pillows for chairs, a lower bed. Black furniture is good. You could also do the ceiling a skyblue with a white cloud roller.

Light colors and lots of mirrors. Try to make the room look tall with vertical stripes too. Through some splashed of bold color in for fun. You could go with a soft yellowy green with a hint of cranberry or orange for a "pop". Stay away from deep colors, they make everything look smaller. Sounds like fun!

Paint the walls white....
Close the door...
take 4 or 5 different colors of paint.
place a 1/2" paint brush in each can of paint.
Start splattering it all over the wall & ceiling.
It will be colorful & fun & messy!!!

Paint it a nice, light, airy color. Pick out things that have fun colors, like cute pillows and odds and ends for shelves on the walls. Put in a cute, little, plain colored rug in the middle and couple of comfy chairs in two of the corners. Viola!
Have fun :-)
