I had been chosen many times as best answer and received stars At the end of Sept I had 11 stars and I check my profile this morning and I am still at 11 stars Only yesterday I received 8 more stars How come they were not add up I had received many more stars but they where never add up Why;; And also I would like to know where do you click on the computer to choose a best answer and if I want to give stars where I click I know my question sounds stupid but I am old and I am not use with computers Thanks

Best answers give you points not stars. People give you stars if they like your question. You can click on the star right below the question to give the question a star. If you ask a question a letter will be sent to your email when it is time to chose a best answer or you can go back and chose one as soon as you get one you like, by just going back to your profile and looking at the answers you have received. I hope this helps a little. Old and still learning too!

you click the star thing under the question where it says interesting on the question you want to star and the choose as best answer comes up when you are ready to vote and close your question, it has to be posted at least 4 hours
sometimes it runs slow and stuff doesn't post immediately either

1) you are NOT new here.
2) yahoo is slow and they wont add up right away
3) blue button that say "choose as best answer". you have to wait 4-5 hours(depending on yahoo's working-ness)
4) the little star below the question
