Well, lets see. Go LOOK at the pitcures of him when he played in Pittsburgh then look at the early San Fransico pitcures. Then google barry bonds and do all the reading you want. He took them and thats that. Why else would he live under a cloud of suspicion? Why wouldn't he just own up? I think he did them cause he won't take a lie detector test or anythig. He admitted to the cream anyways!

There is proof that Barry Bonds urine sample does not test positive for steroids under all steroid tests.
So technically there is proof that Barry Bonds did not take steroids, but I like the concept of Innocent until proven guilty.

There is no proof about anything with Barry Bonds' steroid use rumors. As long as they can't find hard proof, he is innocent and will not have to look at any *asterisks* in his name. There is also a rumor that he admitted to it, but that is not something that I myself believe is true. Even if he did it might have been just to get it over with because he wanted to get the media out of his face.

Anything he might have taken was before MLB established a drug policy. He has never tested positive for any banned drugs since the implementation of the testing. Many players experimented with steroids in the 1990's before MLB implemented a drug policy. Only the players that continued to use drugs after the implementation of the MLB/Players Union agreement and get caught will have a problem, and apparently Bonds will not be one of them.

Here is the article where ESPN reports he admitted to using steroids unknowingly. Whether he knew or not, he did use them. It does not matter they may not have been banned by MLB at the time or not, he used steroids. Plain and simple.

He admitted to using the clear cream but said he was unaware that it was a performance enhancer.
He denied using any kind of performance drugs prior to using the clear cream and has never tested positive during that time. As of today there has been no evidence or proof presented that states he is lying.
