Huge questions but, I'll try to anser in a reasonable amount of time.

1 - Economic Divisions
The North had most of the industrial plants as the north is where you find coal mines and steel factories. Therefore, they could produce the weapons of war. The North had 90% oif the railroads so they could move material faster and more efficiently. The North had most of the population.

The South was agricultural and lacked skilled labor to produce weapons. They were hoping Europe would trade weapons for cotton. They had very few railroad miles.

2 - Military Leaders
USA President - A. Lincoln
CSA President - J. Davis
USA commanders went through several lousy ones until Lincoln settled on Grant after a lot of success in the West. One good example: McClellen had Lee's battle plans before Antietum and barely one the battle.
CSA commanders went through very few and they settled on Lee early on.

3 - Social Events
Of course, there was the Abolitionists
The South thought Europe would support them as Europe's Clothing Mills relied upon the South's cotton. Of course, they were not about to support slavery.

WOW - Sounds like a term paper assignment, impossible to answer in the space provided. Economically the North was industrial manufacturing while the South was agricultural, mainly cotton. Military Leaders primarily were Gen Ulysses S. Grant (Union) & Gen Robert E. Lee (Confederacy). Gen William T. Sherman (Union) & Thomas J (Stonewall) Jackson (Confedercy) were of note, but there were many others! I don't think there was much time for social events but one can only assume not much changed in the habits of the civilian populace, except in support for the war efforts. These topics are much too broad to even attempt a complete answer.

The economics in the south was based on crops and trade mostly. The cotton industry was very good to those raising cotton in the south. While in the north many of the industries were based on more modern manufacturing.
The south had Gen Lee and Jefferson as the president of the south. The north had Lincoln and a whole variety of Generals who were in charge (some for a very short time) of the armies of the Potomac. Ball room dancing.
