I, too, have found people with certain names to behave differently! I'm in my later 50's so I've had a lot of experience with different individuals, and have discussed this topic with my husband and others in years past. They have noticed patterns, too.
No offense to anyone ... but those with the name David have invariably turned out to be very stubborn and it's usually 'their way or the highway'. Good enough guys, but be ready to go along with doing things their way.
Females with the name Pat, such as myself, are often times a bit on the tom-boyish side. We can be fun to buddy around with, but don't expect someone who acts overly feminine.
The Michelles I've known have been fairly aloof and expect things their way, too.
Margarets have been fairly quiet and retiring, but friendly and caring once a person got to know them.
Linda people have most always been more pushy and uncompromising.
Neil ... kind of nice, but not very sophisticated and sometimes not wise in their conduct.
Ron ... okay ... but the ones I've known have been a bit on the coarse side being more rough and tumble in words and deeds.
I could go on, but this is some of what I've noticed, and my husband of 37 years has noticed the same thing. Oh, and by the way. My husband's name is David ... and yes, he's read this and hasn't disagreed about the first name on this list. Haha!
It's great that you're making observations. Not that you should shun those of certain names, but to be aware of possibilities is very wise in my opinion. Good for you!

Yes, again no offense to anyone, but for some reason Tiffanys have always been horrible, mean people to me!
There are a couple others, too, that share names, and I gave it some thought after noticing the pattern. I think it has to do with their parents.
Think about this: each person's behavior might be a result of a common way they were raised, as a result of each set of parents' personalities and preferences, which also would have affected the choosing of the names.
Then again it doesn't help that it's every human's tendency to only remember negative things! Can you think of any names that have always belonged to people who were nice?
I know three nice Megans... = )

One of the people who once owned my house died in the back room and every now and then I see some crazy sh!t back there. I also hear typing at the computer in the middle of the night, even though everyone's in bed, and I've also gone to sleep in my house alone only to wake up and see all the little wires and whatnot in the computer unplugged (that was last week-- creepy and a pain in the @ss). I'm fairly certain you *did* see Anne Boleyn that one time. Everything about her life was f*cked up in the highest degree, and I wouldn't be surprised if her soul hasn't been saved yet, if she has some unfinished business she feels she needs to complete.

Yes, most named Phillip or Phil are total jerks. (My ex among them). I really hadn't realized it until comparing horror stories with someone else who had an ex named Phil--it was amusing to compare the similar bad qualities.
There is an amusing bit of dialogue in the movie "Elizabethtown" that explores this concept. Kirsten Dunst's character presents this same hypothesis. The movie is worth watching anyway for the hilarious memorial service scene (which I won't give away if you haven't seen it), but you should rent it and watch it just for that!

Every Ashley I've met has been a complete b****. No offence. All the Haylie's I've met have been shallow. Jennifers aren't too nice either. All the Brads have been jock-ish and a bit obnoxious. Hope this helps. Bon Chance!
