O.K., Dizz, try the History Channel, the Discovery channel, and the Planet channel, as I have watched their DIFFERENT reports on the same subject, for over 2 months, now.
For some people, they should turn off the "as the gut turns", "days of our misery", "guiding darkness", soaps as well as:: "survivor's voting each other off a "DESERTED" island because one of them didn't say 'may I', and / or the ridicules 'sports' games, and spend more time with your family and learning a little bit more about the world, around you.
Oh yes, try a study of geology, and the formation of the earth about 4.5 Billion years ago, when the earths surface was over 2,000 degress F*, and the hundreds of times the earth has gone into a 'deep freeze', and when.

Don't bother them with facts.
I like to point out that the Great Lakes were formed by glaciers - who is to "blame" for those glaciers retreating? Or how about the fact that the interior of Alaska used to be grasslands - temperate enough for wild horses. Who is to say what the "correct" temperature IS?
Don't get me wrong - I think we DO need to take care of the planet, but to think that we can make Mother Nature change? That's the epitome of man's arrogance, in my opinion.

Yeah, I have been keeping that in mind too when ever they say that we are in trouble from global warming. Now, don't get me wrong, but I think they are twisting the facts for their OWN benefit and nothing more.
What is actually happening is that the magnetic poles are shifting, which is why in some areas it is melting and in others it is GROWING!
