He used the N word in as a general term, not to describe blacks. He even told his son Tucker in that message that if people in American heard him & his family say it, they wouldn't understand and would only assume he meant blacks. Hawaii has a different culture and I believe him when he said the N word was being used in general. I've spoken with black people that have even said there are blacks and then there are ni**ers.

But it is funny to see such a religious person who prays all the time on his show use such a word. Awful hypocritical. But I don't care that he said it...it was a private convo and his son should get the sh!t beat out of him for treating his dad like that. Tucker has always been a loser, lawbreaker, drug addict and I believe he was hard up for money and partly jealous not to be in the same position Leeland & Duane Lee are in.

How would you like it if someone recorded a private conversation you were having in your home where you used a word like that and they turned it in to your boss and you got fired for it?

I know what is the big deal . I mean he did not say anything near offensive as what I have heard in rap songs !!! and his son and his trashy g/f should be ashamed of themselves . Must have needed drugs real bad to turn in your own father . I heard someone once say that crack will make you steal from your own family . my household and i are boycotting A&E. they will be the ones to suffer because they took dogs show off their network . let us see how long that station lasts . America is a freedom of speech country . good luck and god bless .

I think that he's actually a really cool guy - he turned his life around and actually cares about the people he has to go after. Yeah, they are kinda "white-trashish", but look at the good he and his family do for people - they protect those who are innocent, and still try to help the guilty....I think that is commendable.

Who cares what they look like? As soon as people can stop critiquing the way others look/dress, etc., this world will be a much happier place to live in.

With the racist controversy caused by him his white trash trailer park look doesn't help them any. A lot of people are biased towards people with that look and assume they are racist. So when he says he isn't racist even though there is a tape of him using the N word, it makes him hard to believe.

That's just the way they are. Not my style, but nonetheless, they seem to be real comfortable with who they are. I admire that.
