Besides an ultrasound?

There a couple stories I have that actually worked for me. I have 2 girls and 1 boy.

For my girls I had dreams of girls of various ages introducing themselves to me. I named them the names they told me too! I've heard of this from other moms, same as the next one.

For my boy, they seem to all be linebackers! He kicked me so hard all the time, I had bruises show through my ribs! So I guess before we're even born boys have the brawn and us girls have the brains hahahah!:)

The other one is to hold a crystal pendulum on a silver chain over your belly and it will either swing side to side or go in circles and I can't remember which way is which but one is a girl and one a boy. I think circle is a gir, makes sense. Sorry it's been a while.

I just go by my gut feeling. I knew my last would be a girl, and it was.

I now believe I am pregnant with a boy...I'll find out in 3 weeks, so I'll let you know if I was right or wrong.

They say that if the hair on your legs grows faster than normal, then it is a boy. I have also heard that if you have a lot of gas pain, it is a boy too.
I don't really believe that. I go more with just the gut feeling.

My midwife told me though, that if you have bad acid indigestion in your pregnancy, your baby will be born with lots of HAIR. She said this was true!
It was definitely true for me. My baby was born with a TON of hair.

This is also not proven, but they say that if your baby's heart rate is under 140, you'll have a boy, and if it is over 140, then you'll have a girl.

My daughter's was 170 throughout the pregnancy, and obviously came out a girl.

This pregnancy, my baby has had 169, then 135 heartrate 2 months later. We will see.

Those are all just old wives tales. I had a girl and a boy and I was tired and sleepy with both. I didn't notice a difference in the way I carried them either. Although they say that girls have a faster heartbeat than boys and I did find that to be true for my kids. My daughter was usually around 160 and my son was usually around 145.

the whole tired and sleepy then its a girl thing cant be true because i am pregnant and im pregnant with a baby boy. im never more tired in my life either..im 5 months and i still get really tired.im tired as hell right now as a matter of fact, lol.
but i just knew somehow that it was a boy. i kept tellin everyone that it felt like a boy and when i found out that it for sure was then i freaked out cuz i was right.......
i had morning sickness really bad for about 3 weeks and then that was it....it was over really soon...
but if it's a boy ur hair does grow quicker and stuff.........i really think that is true.
even though im only 5 months im still carryin low..already.
i dont really know if there is a way to tell for sure though because everyone is different.......

With my little girl, I was sick early in the pregnancy. I was always tired and my face seemed to explode.(it got really chubby).....
some people say that if your looks go to crap....you are having a girl, because the girl is taking her mothers beauty away....

Now that I am pregnant with my little boy, I haven't been sick at all, I'm not extremely tired and my face still looks the same.
OH....and the old wives tale about the hair growing quicker on your legs if it is a boy...I swear I think that is true. With this pregnancy the hair on my legs and underarms grow over night. :)

There is no definite way to tell without an ultrasound. But I have heard that girls sit higher and boys lower. This was true for me. My son sat way low.

someone once told me that while its different for everyone, a woman carrying a girl could have morning sickness due to the extra estrogen in her body. i have a son and a daughter. with my son i was big as a house all over my body. my daughter was only in the front of my belly and way high up. i didnt gain anything but belly.

The ole wives tales. if you have heartburn alot then you will have a baby with alot of hair. if you carry it low, it is a boy if you carry it high then it is a girl. and another thing, is when you conceived, if you got off before your boyfriend then you will have a girl. if he did first, then you will have a boy.

women carry girls higher and boys are lower and all over. But there is no real way to say unless you have ultrasound
