I am doing the Christening blanket in Crochet for Babies and Toddlers. I have completed the center square, the 18 rounds of fan pattern, and finally the 1st band of squares.

I am feeling like a lunatic...The 2nd round after the completed band of squares calls for "skip first fan..." The last fan is about 2.5 inches away from this row...It also says "skip 5dc" there are no 5dc in the entire pattern....

If you have this pattern or access to it please look at the "fan mesh pattern" and let me know what you make of it.

The pattern does have errors but the ones listed on line do not apply to this portion of the pattern.

HELP PLEASE!

The pattern is from a book and I contacted the publishing company. They contacted me within an hour of my e-mail and I will be speaking to their tech. advisor tomorrow. Thanks for all of the support!

Who was this pattern made by? Did you get it in a book or was it given to you? Contact me with the info and I will try to help.

if you got it from the internet, then post a link to the pattern and let us try and see if its the pattern. those of us who can sort out problems with crochet will help you straighten it out. i promise.

if you got the pattern of the internet i would suggest that you call or email the company with problems with this pattern.

if its out of a book there should be an email of some sort in the book in the front or back and tell them about the problem and see what they can do for you.

I know this is a silly question, but are there MORE than 5 DC? If so, you would just skip the first 5.

It sounds like you found yet more errors with this pattern.
Put up the link to the pattern to let others test it out as well, if you would, please.
