For those of you who are irregular, has your period been regular the cycle you were on Clomid (assuming that it didn’t result in pregnancy)?

I am very irregular and took Clomid this cycle. I had my period on Oct. 8th trough 11th (took clomid day 3-7). How do I know when I am do for my period considering I took clomid?

Thanks ladies!

I hope I get a BFP too! I do have the painful nipples, loss of sleep/wake up at 4AM to go pee for the past 5 days which is VERY unusual. Then I wake up every hour past 4Am. I usually am a big sleeper and this is very strange. I also am having some abdomen pain but all of these symptoms could be PMS symptoms too. so go figure!

hey AD, I thought you would have been coming back say I got a BFP, I did clomid and if you did ovulate your suppose to get a period 14 days after you ovulated, you should get your period anytime between the 5th and the 12th, if not you can test hope you get a BFP, but if you don't you'll have to ask your dr to perscribe provers to help you get a period Good Luck.

Remember the reason why you have a iregguler period is because you don't ovulate, so since you ovulate your cycle should be ranging from 28-35 days some might be even longer.

I have pcos to and I USE to have ireguler cycles, I am on metformin and I just started it August 31 and Guess what my cycles then are now 29 days long, I would be testing on Tuesday and I'm praying its a BFP, you should ask your dr about metformin so it'll be alot more easier on your self, I would be start clomid along with the metformin next cycle on days 5-9 if I didn't conceive this month.

To me its best to use the both because being on metformin helps your cycle to be reguler so you'll no the length of you cycle and when you'll ovulate

Edit: Yes they may also be PMS it happen to me last cycle, I had real serious tender breast, pee more threw the night, lite cramps around uterus and everything you name it, but the reason for the tender breast might be the high progestrone in the body

I am very irregular. My doctor told me to wait till day 32 in my cycle and if i didn't have a period then i would take provera and start the process all over again. That was my first month at 50mg of Clomid. It didn't work that month so i just started clomid at 100mg today. Best of luck to you ....and me!

You are generally supposed to ovulate within 10 days of your last day of clomid. I would expect your period to start somewhere around 14 days after that. Hope this helps!
