I worked many years ago with a lovely tall red haired girl and she was so conscious of her height that she was beginning to developer round shoulders in her attempt to disguise it. I can only hope she became aware of her loveliness and stood proud .

The answer to your question is yes! One example - our niece who is about 5' 10" tall was very self-concious to the point she would slouch in order to appear shorter. Her posture became habit, and while she is an otherwise attractive lady, her posture has ruined her appearance.

I learned from her example, so when I realized my daughter was going to be tall, also, I made it a point to tell her how beautiful it was to be tall. To this day, she stands proudly as she should. Tall, short, or in between, we all need to be happy with ourselves.

I'm embarrassed, exactly, about being tall. It is annoying being taller than every other girl in the room. I'm not even that terribly tall, it's just that most of my friends tend to be tiny.

I'm 5'8 and female. I don't mind being tall, but my office is full of people around 5ft so sometimes I feel like I stick out, but then that's good sometimes too.
The way I see it, I can't do much about it so don't worry.

Hey, i'm 5 foot 6 and male and to be honest it makes little difference to me or the people i meet, i've dated girls taller and shorter than me, i take care of myself physically and i'm quite happy with the way i am. People shouldn't be worried about how they are and certainly not with things they can't change i.e. height.
