Are you talking about a work cadre? If so, these inmates are on work release and have been screened, are probably near release anyway, so they will be out soon. They should also be being supervised by corrections personnel.

If you mean something else, a halfway house, for example, you should specify what, exactly, you mean.

Inmates mean they are in jail.
If you mean people that have been convicted of a crime and now are out on parole. They have every right to be out and about as anyone else. If they are people you know if they are harassing you or causing problems on your property then you call the police and lodge a complaint, if you know their names get a restraining order. Heck we have a child molester registered that lives across the street.. he lives there and we can't do anything about it. He will always have that tag on him if anyone goes to the Megan Law's site and puts in his address. Not much we can do about it but we have no kids either.

Sure they're supposed to, but if everyone did what they were supposed to, there wouldn't be any inmates in the first place.

Maybe you shouldn't live inside a jail if you don't want inmates in your living quarters.

MOVE

And they aren't inmates if they aren't living in a prison.
