aye. i believe that when you fall in love you feel all sorts of sensation inside you...iam in love and i do feel that way...its not something people talk about..its really something that happens and something you've felt... right now, i feel strong and at the same time afraid...strong in the sense the emotion is inspiring me...and afraid as well of the power this emotions can induce upon me..iam both happy and sad....and you feel like even if others see it as wrong..for you is right....we all know that in feeling, there is nothing wrong with that no matter how the world dictates it as wrong...for emotions are not governed by what is right or wrong...in feeling, everything is equal...huhu...i feel so much for the guy and because of that i know he has the power to hurt me...and i dont care...iam ready to get hurt coz i wont regret loving him...

Yes, you will feel these sensations, upon meeting someone very attractive. But remember, these feelings are ALWAYS guided by infatuation, though the degree may vary. The reason so many separate these days is that people are losing their ability to see deeper than the "effect of infatuation". Couples, like myself, who have loved one for many years, love their mates beyond what most can understand. I , several times in my life, have been "infatuated" with another. Learning that this is a temporary state, and is not to be trusted, is the hardest part. A love that endures time is a love that cannot be effected by things like this. No matter what, you know you are in love, and you know you are loved. Nothing else really matters. If someone truly commits, THAT IS LOVE. But back to the point, you are right about one thing for sure, the sensations are extreme, and can reduce a person to absolutely nothing. If my statement lacks focus, sorry, someone just came by, in the middle of my answer, and they just WON'T SHUT UP!!!

You are in the "Love Mode" today darling! There isn't anything greater than the "rush" of falling and/or being in love. Realism seeps in at some point, but I'll be quite honest, that initial feeling is the biggest rush I have ever experienced in my life time. There are different feelings of what I term, "a rush", for example, sky diving, having sex for the first time, things that are so exhilarating, but I agree with others, the feeling of totally falling in love is almost indescribable. In the middle of this euphoric feeling if the person you fell in love with doesn't feel the same way and wants to end the relationship abruptly, the euphoria spirals into a bottomless pit and can be crushing. I have never been in that situation but can imagine it would be a nightmare to go through.

Those things are often part of it. However, they are also part of many other things. You are mostly speaking of the beginnings of love. It these sensations are all you seek you will be disappointed by love. Love is warm, comfortable, familiar and safe.
Love is often compared to a fire. At first it starts as a simple spark. Then it catches onto the kindling. Soon it burns with a great ferocity and emits a lot of heat and light. But eventually, it mellows. It becomes a less bright, less exciting but a lot more reliable and peaceful. If tended to properly it will last and last. But if all one is interested in is the heat and excitement of the beginning one is doomed to spend the rest of their lives forever jumping from one relationship to another, never progressing beyond the initial stages.
It is not possible to build a family or successful life if you keep wasting your time starting short fire after short fire. Choose wisely. Enjoy the ride but keep your head.

The initial "rush" of sensations we feel when falling in love are the result of our brains releasing extra amounts of endorphin, dopamine, serotonin and various other neurotransmitters. The purpose is purely biological; to draw one close to a perspective mate. After the infatuation is over, then comes the chance for a true spiritual love to grow, or not.
These sensations are not exclusive to the "falling in love" experience, but can also manifest when we learn something profound, meditate, pray, think of a loved one past or present and for those that have developed psychic sensitivity (energy awareness).

I do think when you fall in love you feel a variety of sensations & emotions. And as Jake said those feelings are mostly indescribable. But, they are feelings & sensations that you wouldn't want to miss out on because they are some of the most meaningful & rewarding in the world!

I only feel so happy when I'm in love. That kind of sensation like I'm walking in the clouds. And everyone I see around are like smiling back at me. It's the most beautiful sensation....Something I'd wish would never end.
I guess I'd be the loneliest....only if love despised me.

Oh yes Rena! And both the pain and joy are wonderful sensations. The pain, I believe, is anticipation for when you will meet once again. The joy is self-explanatory. Ah, l'amore - nothing like it.

Yes you do feel lots of sensations. You feel butterflies in your gut when you are with them, you feel weightless, and contentment. I think love is the only thing that you can have so many things or feelings inside you all wanting to come out at once. Its like a cork in a bottle. Once there is pressure it will come pouring out.

Most certainly, So various and personal to the one, they are
inexpressible, Especially love at first sight.
But I don't think" it is the beginning of what you are meant to be." Not fully, who you are you already are, and who you are meant to be is a life time journey of becoming.
