It's not all that surprising to me, because the level of talent between big and small schools has narrowed so much. I think that any big-conference team who takes their opponent too lightly could be in for a shock, and that's what has made the NCAA tournament so difficult to call these last few seasons.
The funny thing is that I lived in Ohio for ten years, but didn't realize there was a university in Findlay. I just thought of it as the place where Roethlisberger came from. But good for them for pulling the upset and getting some attention for a smaller school.

Kudos to Findlay but it was just an exhibition game. It means absolutely nothing in the long run.
Add: Findlay is in Ohio.

I guess the year of the upset is going strong right into the basketball season.
My only word of advice is don't bet on the tournament this year. Every year there are upset stories, but can you imagine what this year will look like?
