What about Dustin? But out of the ones you listed I like Daniel, and Dayton. Dayton would make a great name!

Here are my impressions on each name, if you don't mind....
1) Denim - For obvious reasons, I don't believe that kids would be too kind to this name, and do not understand the inspiration or special meaning.
2) Daniel is a great one...very classic. All the Daniels I have ever known have been sweethearts.
3) Deacon is a great modern name. I love it personally.
4) Deisal - although an interesting spelling, not my fav.
5) Dayton - I like this name, especially with the y.

I love: Daniel and Deacon the most.
I am assuming that Denim is inspired either by
Toni Braxton's baby or "To Sir with Love". If it's the latter, the original spelling is Denham, which I like better.

Deacon or Daniel--Dayton screams 80's, Denim--hello Mr. Blue Jean (he'll be made fun of forever) and the other--Diesel with a new spelling? They'll call your kid gas or fart. He'll hate you forever if you do that.
