The US has had a long standing relationship with Turkey, and this will remain so since Turkey provides tactical and strategic value and support to NATO and US foreign policy

The first line in addressing the problem that plagues Turkey and the region is to assist in providing intelligence in a timely manner. The second is logistical support for weapon systems.

The problem is not with the Kurdish people in general, since a majority of the persons living in southern Turkey are of Kurdish origin in whole or in part, but with the separatist that have been antagonizing this secular nation to part off a portion of the southeast in order to create an autonomous nation of its own.

The need to identify the persons that act as the voice and the drive of terrorsim is paramount. Then to alienate them from the mainstream and place them in the open will make them easier targets, even amongst their own.

Personally, I think Turkey can do very well on it's own. But with the US controlling the mainstream actions in Iraq, then the US has to provide the necessary intel support and logistics control in doing their part to bring down the PKK, and any other organization that stands to disrupt peace.

As for controlling terrorism throughout Turkey, it's up to each and every individual to stand up to what they believe constitutes an act that supports terrorism in one way or another. By working together and putting the fire out in its place, will surley prevent it from spreading.

Hello dear!

We have to understand what the words we are using mean!
For example, when we say Bush, what do we mean? Well, this is easy: it is this figure put there by the rulers of the world!
But, what do we mean terrorism? And if there is such, who are the terrorists?
People here in Yahoo are smart and know better than what the Media brainwashing the audience! Somehow, terrorists are always those who regardless if they exist or not, are used by the rulers to terrorize the public. Have you traveled by plane? They don;t allow to have a little bottle of water with you, or medicine, or anything in bottles more than 100 ml. So, they stop terrorism this way! Of course not! They never caught anyone, they do this to terrorize us! Now, who is the terrorist?
I think those who control nuclear and other strategic weapons are terrorists.
Those whop control medicine, food, energy and other supplies are the terrorists.
Well, enough for the terrorists!
Now, what kind of help does Turkey need to combat terrorism or anyone? Turkey does not need any assistance, mostly requires the permit! Further, should look after the aftermath. Who guarantees that the results will work to the benefit of the winner? People forget! We were adults when Saddam, allowed (if not pressed) by the superpower to get Kuwait and what happen to Iraq?
I guarantee that if Turkey attacks Iraq or anyone else, will end up worse than Iraq! Be careful neighbors! Iraq, Iran are not Cyprus!

How?

Maybe they can tell Turkey to stop funding the turkic separatists terrorist in the Xingqiang province of China ???

Obviously Turkey supports terrorists when they are of turkic ethnicity and want to secede from another country

They strongly oppose separatists of non-turkic ethnicity to secede from Turkey

I call this a double standard.
