The mean for a group of numbers is the arithmetical average of the group. To find this, you need to add the numbers together and divide the result by the number of numbers in the group. Here goes:
1) 43+41+39 = 123
123/3 = 41
Mean = 41
2) 56+57+52 = 165
165/3 = 55
Mean = 55
3) 41+46+45 = 132
132/3 = 44
Mean = 44
I hope this helps, but do please feel free to drop me a line if you'd like to go over this or any other figure-work further.

1.whats the mean for: 43 41 39
2.whats the mean for: 56 57 52
3.whats the mean for: 41 46 45
1) the mean is the average of the total number of n
so 43 + 41 + 39 find the sum first,
which is 123
divide by the number of n, 3.
123 / 3 = 41
Answer: 41
2.whats the mean for: 56 57 52
we add them up 56 + 57 + 52 = 165
165 divide by the total number of n, 3
165 / 3 =
55
Answer: 55

Hey, Rachael. The mean is the average, and the average is just the sum of the data divided by the number of data. For question 1, the mean is (43+41+49)/3

Here's how to get the answers:
For each problem add the 3 numbers and divide by 3.
I'll do the first one:
43+41+39 = 123
123/3 = 41.
Now you do the others!

Mean is no different than average, so add up the three numbers and divide them by three.
1 = 41
2 = 55
3 = 44
That's done in my head.

I hope you don't expect us to do your homework for you.
A mean is another word for "average". Add up the elements in a set, then divide that sum by the total number of elements. For example, the mean of { 1,2,3 } would be shown algebraically as :
x=(n1+n2+n3...)/(number of elements in set)
x= (1+2+3)/3
x = (6)/3
x= 2
Super bonus hint: These are all sets that have three elements in them.
