My brother is Darren Michael and he's always gotten a lot of compliments on it. I would go with that. It's a great strong name.
I also like Colin and Cole. Rory Roussell doesn't flow very well. And I'm not that fond of Victor, Dean, or Calvin.

They are all nice. I like to play with the syllables. That is, mix a one syllable with a two or alternate so it doesnt sound sing songy. For example Michael John Roussell is 2-1-2 and sounds good ( not saying those are the names you should choose, but just as a syllabic example) So Darren Michael Roussell is 2-2-2. Christopher Dean Roussell is 3-1-2. So think if you like all the same number of syllables, or not. Think of hearing it read at a graduation ceremony or reading it on a job application or drivers license. Also, think of the usual nicknames people give like Vic for Victor and whether you can deal with those. Congratulations to you both
