If you have a large enough amount of property, some commercial chicken growers offer to provide the materials and you run it. Check the web for this type business.

First you start with a business plan. Write down everything you will need for your chicken farm. Then make a list of those things and attach a cost to each one. Figure out what you are going to sell and how long it will take to bring your product to market. Establish who will be your customers and how you will supply them. When you have this basic information, you are ready to seek financing. Every community has non profit organizations who will help you with that part of your dream. You may have to save some money to qualify for the loan to get the business started. But stick with it!

I would look online at Poultry Online, or Poultry Digest and see if someone wants to sell a farm. Starting out the cost is very high whereas an established company will be going already. You may wish to remove cages and allow for cage free egg production as cage free eggs bring more money even though they are a bit more labor intensive and therefore costly to run.
