Ohh, tough choice. I can tell you why I picked the tC over a VW Passat: Great price for all of the standard options it includes, drives like a dream, less costly to repair, and EVERYONE and their mother has a VW. Also, I live in NYS with TONS of snow and my car handles great with primo snow tires. Just a thought...

You need to give us more detail of your style.

I have a GTI and I love it. I push it hard had it for 3 years and no problems so far.

My friend owns a Rabbit and i love driving it. The best feeling is taking it on the highway it drives beautiful!

If your planing on changing allot of parts then you should go with the Scion. other then that get the V-dub.(Check out a Scion forum to get a little inside on owning one)

My girlfriend just picked up the Scion TC and I am impressed with it. Its loaded with lots of cool gadgets. It drives like a dream and has balls for a 4 cylinder. The only thing I would have liked on it would have been the spoiler option. That looks sharp.

I like the Scion tC better than the Volkswagen Rabbit because it is more reliable and it is more stylish.

TC for life. For the price, quality, and dependability... this is it. MP3, iPod input, 6 airbads, 163 ft lbs of torque, 160 hp, double moonroof, ABS, reclining back seats.... I can go on and on. This is the best choice.

The Rabbit is german, so parts and maintenance is expensive. TC is made here in the US, so parts and maintenance is cheap. Did you know that the engine in the TC is from the CAMRY I4?

You know the rumors - German over Japanese for all 2008 cars. It's true!

That GTI will make you never look at another Scion again.

if you live in the south where there is no snow the TC will be the more reliable car if you live in the north where there is snow i would go with the VW it has better rust protection and is MUCH MUCH better handling in the snow. the VW has higher build quality but will be more expensive to repair and will not be as reliable. i would still go with the VW but if you are looking for the most reliable and are not worried about its ability to handle in the snow and hold up in snow and salt then you can go with the TC.
